The roles and responsibilities of PHC staff in implementation of EHR for OPD & IPD services is as follows :
1. Medical officer ( DDO ) : is the Nodal Officer of ABDM - EHR for that facility .
2 . Role of Receptionist / DEO : OP Enrollment , ABHA ID Registration , OP Slip Printing , ABDM Care Context , Old Patient Linking , My QR Download .
3 . Role of Staff Nurse : Capturing , Chief Complaints , Vitals , Health History & Family History , Visit History
4 . Role of Doctor : View , Verify & Correct data aptured by ANM / Staff Nurse , Capturing Clinical Examination , Investigation , Prescription , Action Taken , Visit History
5 . Role of Pharmacist : View Patient Prescription by ABHA Number , Issue of Medicines
6 . Role of Lab Technician : View Diagnosis prescribed to Patient by Doctor , Sample ID Generation , Results Entry , Print Results , Updating Regents stock , Updating Lab Equipment Status
The DMHOS and District Nodal Officers are requested to inform all the PHCs and ensure that all the PHC staff are active in implementation of EHR in OPD services in their PHCs .
